01 What age can I start training?

We accept kids from age 5 and there is no upper age limit for adults. BJJ is for everyone.

02 Do I need to be in shape?

No! You will get in shape through training. Our fundamentals classes are designed for all fitness levels.

03 What are the benefits of BJJ?

BJJ improves physical fitness, flexibility, mental toughness, self-defense skills, and builds a strong community.

04 What do I need for my first class?

Just wear comfortable athletic clothing (shorts/leggings and a t-shirt). We can lend you a gi for your trial class.

05 What kind of kimono/gi do I need?

Any BJJ-specific gi will work. We can help you choose the right one after your first few classes.

06 What is the difference between BJJ and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu?

BJJ focuses on ground fighting and submissions, evolved from Judo and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. It emphasizes technique over strength, making it effective for smaller practitioners.
